What intense and wonderful weeks we have experienced here at Tenuta del Cigno!
The intoxicating scent of Lavender of Modena® and ours Lambrusco and Trebbiano vineyards They have provided the backdrop for truly special events, filling our farm with energy, beauty, and of course, excellent food!
The roar of engines and the charm of the era
For four-wheel lovers it was a real show: we hosted the Porsche rally Organized by Speed Car Modena, an explosion of elegance and power that colored our spaces with iconic models.
And that's not all.
A few days later we were overwhelmed by joy and history with the National gathering of the iconic Citroën 2CVs: over a hundred of these vintage cars, each with its own story to tell, have enlivened our spaces in a truly unique and fun way.
It was wonderful to see so many enthusiasts enjoying the beauty of our territory aboard these legends.
Visitors to the estate were able to appreciate the beauty of our farm by strolling through the vineyards, the French-style vegetable garden, the lavender field, and finally the ancient vinegar cellars. Ermes, fourth generation of Malpighi Acetaia, led them to discover the production method of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, with a vertical tasting of the product that literally left them... speechless!
Modena conquers America with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP
We were super proud to welcome the American TV crew of the program “Places to Love”, hosted by journalist Samantha Brown and broadcast on the American network PBS. A visit coordinated by Modenatur and APT Services Emilia Romagna, to tell the wonder of theTraditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena to an international audience.
It was a complete immersion in our culture and our excellences: not only Aceto, but also a delicious risotto made by the chef de la maison Stefano Corghi with aromatic herbs, pomegranate flowers and freshly picked lavender: a delight for the palate and the eyes.
Massimiliano, sales manager at Acetaia Malpighi, then enchanted everyone with his tale of the history and uniqueness of our precious Balsamic Vinegar, not forgetting Ermes's "pampering" of our beloved barrels.
And to finish in style? A final tasting which, we assure you, spoke for itself, leaving everyone speechless!
