THE“Tenuta Del Cigno” Agricultural Company It is immersed in the Modena countryside: it was founded in 1975 by the Malpighi family, owners of the historic company of the same name Acetaia.
A ancient property dating back to the early 500th century, it has been transformed over the years into a lovely place where the cultivation of the Lavender of Modena® and Lambrusco di Modena, Trebbiano di Spagna, and Trebbiano di Modena grapes for the production of cooked must and Lambrusco di Modena.
The cooked must that we obtain from a careful selection of our grapes is the only ingredient necessary to obtain theTraditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, which the Malpighi family has been producing with passion and ancient wisdom since 1850, allowing it to slowly linger inside the historic batteries of barrels made of the finest woods, over three thousand.

Circa twenty hectares of land frame this oasis of peace dotted with centuries-old trees, which was once swan migration area: hence the name “Tenuta del Cigno” today also inhabited by prized black swans and wild white swans.

La a common, slow passage of time, respect for the earth in which we live and nature which, as Aristotle claimed, "never does anything in vain", are the common thread that guides our farm. 

The estate is completed by some beehives that produce organic honey French-style garden dedicated to the cultivation of aromatic plants and herbs, pomegranate trees e nights

For the protection of the environment and in synergy with the objectives of the2030 Agenda we focus on the energy saving, through the use of photovoltaic renewable energy, It is on water saving through a rational use of irrigation.
