Fresh thyme
Fresh thyme Thimus vulgaris Grown in the French-style garden of the farm. Its flavor and aroma are very intense and somewhat reminiscent of rosemary: in cooking, it is used to flavor savory and sweet dishes, and is also an effective remedy for colds. Its properties are linked to the presence of thymol, which has antiseptic and antispasmodic, as well as balsamic, properties. It is therefore recommended for upper respiratory tract problems and to decongest the airways.
Directions for useWe recommend using it as a flavoring for roasts, fish, vegetables, and legume soups, to flavor oil and vinegar, or to flavor liqueurs. Try it in a frittata or omelet, too! Or, use it in an infusion to disinfect the mouth, treat coughs, and aid digestion: steep two grams of dried thyme leaves in two hundred milliliters of boiling water for about ten minutes. Then strain, and your infusion is ready.
